AWS Savings Plans offer significant savings over On-Demand pricing in exchange for a 1 or 3 year commitment to a consistent amount of compute usage (e.g. $10/hour). Compute Savings Plans automatically apply across EC2, Fargate, and Lambda regardless of instance family, size, or region, providing higher architectural flexibility than traditional Reserved Instances.
